We would like to tell you something about our partner Mama Leah and take this opportunity to introduce her team. For several months now we have been able to accompany, support and promote our partnership with Mama Leah and her Maisha Bora team. It's nice to see how we were able to grow together during this time and how the roots of the individual projects are sustainably consolidated.
Leah approaches the individual projects with the greatest care and love, focusing on the well-being of the children and her entire team. It's nice to see that this kind of partnership, which requires a high degree of trust and loyalty on both sides , is already bearing such valuable fruit.
Leah Theodora was born in Tanzania in the Kilimanjaro region in 1983.
1992–1998 primary school attendance
1999–2002 secondary school attendance
2003–2005 a seamstress education
2006–2007 college with certificate as childcare worker and medical care for children
Leah was able to gain her first work experience over a period of three years at the Mount Everest School.
From 2010 to 2020 Leah worked in an international NGO in the children's home. Your task was to plan, guide and accompany your 10 employees so that the more than 30 orphans felt comfortable and could grow up in a safe and stable environment.
Your wish to run your own children's home one day in order to use all that you have learned was your big goal, shaped with a lot of love and devotion. And so Mama Leah started with Maisha Bora into her and our future.
Mama Leah has been married to Peter for seven years. This marriage resulted in two wonderful children, Alex and Allen.
Peter owns a small farm and when time allows, he helps his wife with the daily chores in the children's home. He also supports the children's home with food from his farm with bananas, fruits and rice.
